Our conveniently sized OBD reader will read your engines error codes and clear them if required, using a live data stream. Vehicle information is retrieved (VIN, CID, CVN) from vehicle models supporting OBD2.

1. European cars: Works on cars after 2002 to 2016 vehicles (with standard EOBD, CAN)

2. American and AU Cars: Works on cars after 1996 to 2016 vehicles (with standard OBDII,CAN)

3. Asian Cars: Works on cars After 2005 to 2016 (with OBDII/JOBD), Chinese Cars after 2009

4. Z130 also supports your local car makers such as GAZ, UAZ, Lada, SSangyong, Tata, only if the year of car is reached.

This product is developed based on OBDII standards, so is only suitable for cars with 16PIN connector and 12V voltage meeting OBDII protocol , 24V NOT SUPPORTED!

Q: What is OBD2?

A: The OBD2 Scan Tool is designed to work on all OBD2 compliant vehicle. OBD2 was adopted as part of a government mandate to lower vehicles emissions. This sophisticated program in the vehicle's main computer system is designed to detect failures in a range of systems, and can be accessed thought a universal OBD2 Port. For all OBD systems, if a problem is found, the computer turns on the "CHECK ENGINE" light to warn the driver and sets a Diagnostic Trouble Code(DTC) to identify where the problem occurred. A special diagnostic tool, such as the obd2 scan tool, is required to retrieve these codes, which consumers and professionals use as a starting point for repairs.
